When we’re talking about acting ethically for your owner, you should not in any way reject co-broking cases or even ask for the other side to collect commission if it is not under the guidelines.

it doesn't mean that without co-broking, the agent cannot do the job, some time is better not to co broke , it depend on which angle you looking at .

Every body, had to make their own living , it is free market , and is open for negotiation . you can always negotiate a term , a win win term. the most don't do and look for another property to do.

To imply that some one do not want to co broke with you is not ethical. why not say that you are not hard working enought to look for a property to do .

Why not ask , why must some body co broke with you.It is a business man , every one is entittle to maximise the profit .

I am sure if given the choice , you would not want to share your cake too
